name: closer-pro
description: Turn a mid-market or enterprise deal into a close plan — stakeholder map with gaps, risks by stage, a mutual action plan dated backwards from go-live, and the next three moves. Use when the user asks to review a deal, says a deal is stuck or slipping, is preparing for a negotiation or procurement, or wants a mutual action plan. Not for one-call transactional closes, discovery scoring (see MEDDPICC Qualifier), or first-call discovery (see Gap Selling Discovery).

# Closer Pro
Most deals do not die. They drift. A champion goes quiet, security review appears in week nine, legal takes three weeks nobody planned for, and the close date moves twice. This skill takes what the rep knows about a deal and returns a close plan: who is missing from the buying group, what will kill the deal at each remaining stage, a mutual action plan (MAP) counted backwards from the buyer's go-live date, and the three moves to make this week. It beats winging it because it forces the buyer-side steps onto the calendar before they become surprises.
## When to use / When not to
**Use when**
- A deal is past discovery and the user wants to know what it will take to sign.
- A deal has not moved in 10+ days and the user asks why.
- The user is about to send a proposal, enter negotiation, or hand paper to procurement.
- A manager is running a deal review and wants the gaps named.
**Do not use when**
- The deal closes on one call with one buyer. A MAP is overhead there.
- The user has not run discovery. Send them to Gap Selling Discovery first.
- The user wants a qualification score. Run MEDDPICC Qualifier, then come back.
## Inputs the agent should collect
Ask for these before producing anything. Take them in any form: notes, CRM export, a paragraph.
| Input | Why | If missing |
|---|---|---|
| Account, deal size, product/scope | Sizes the paper process | Ask. Do not estimate ACV. |
| Buyer's go-live or "must be working by" date | Anchors the MAP | Ask. If none, say the plan is undated and the deal is at risk for it. |
| Named contacts with titles and stance (for / neutral / against / unknown) | Builds the stakeholder map | Ask for names. Mark unknown roles as gaps; never invent people. |
| Stage and date of last buyer-initiated action | Measures drift | Ask. "Last touch" by the rep does not count. |
| Known buyer steps already surfaced: security, legal, procurement, IT, budget cycle | Fills the MAP | List the usual ones as unconfirmed. |
| Competition and incumbent | Shapes negotiation posture | Mark unknown. |
| Pricing proposed, any pushback so far | Guardrails | Mark "not yet proposed." |
Never state a fact about a real company that the user did not give. Where a fact is unknown, write `UNKNOWN` and make finding it one of the next three moves.
